Our Vision for an artistic home in Camden.

  • Our programs and productions will be built by and for our students and community.

  • Students feel free and comfortable to be themselves and express themselves creatively and authentically when they participate in our programs

  • Students connect with their peers and build a sense of community

  • Students learn life skills, professionalism and challenge themselves to grow and improve throughout their experience in the program

  • Students understand empathy and learn more about themselves and the world around them through storytelling and embodiment

  • Students have fun, understand the importance of play, and make lifelong friends and relationships

  • Students can reiterate the importance of the arts in their lives and understand it’s impact both personally and in the community

Our Values

Authenticity

We recognize that each student brings their own unique perspective to the room, and we seek to foster, encourage and love them as individuals so that they may discover the power of their voice and celebrate their authentic selves.

Empathy

While making theatre, students and participants are exposed to a diverse array of worlds and stories both in scripts and amongst their collaborators in the room. We strive to holistically and respectfully understand and care for one another in the space as well as the stories we portray.

Collaboration

We value collaboration, and community input so that the work feels immediate and reflective of the voices and minds in the room. We prioritize the community needs and interests over a singular artistic vision.

Creative Process

We prioritize a fun and educational environment. This does not mean that we will not have productions, but that participants will learn to enjoy the creative experience that comes with making theatre, not just the final show or “Product.”
