Instructors

Angela Longo is a versatile theatre professional based in the Southern NJ/Philadelphia region, specializing in producing, directing, acting, intimacy coordination, and arts education.

As the former Producing Artistic Director at Eagle Theatre in Hammonton, NJ, Angela successfully produced professional productions and organized impactful community events. She holds a Master of Arts in Theatre from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Rowan University. Angela also shares her knowledge and passion as an adjunct professor at Rowan University.

Angela is an accomplished artist, having written and produced original work showcased at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival and performed as a singer and actor across the tri-state area.

She has taught performing arts classes for students of all ages, witnessing many of her students go on to have successful careers.

Angela is a fervent advocate for community engagement and inclusivity in the arts.

During her time at Eagle Theatre, she collaborated with her team to develop a devised community project called "It's Our Story." This initiative introduced non-theatre artists of diverse backgrounds to the tools and techniques of theatre, fostering deeper connections and creating original work based on the unique life experiences of the participants. With a particular focus on mental health and trauma-informed practices, Angela firmly believes in the transformative power of theatre as a platform for self-expression and community connection for all. She is so excited to develop the Performing Arts program at The Neighborhood Center and share her passion with the students and community.
